Periodic Regression Algorithmready

Periodic regression models are used to estimate an expected baseline level for the time series, associated with a prediction interval. They can extract the dates of epidemics and estimate the related morbidity/mortality burden. They can also forecast alert thresholds to perform real time surveillance of diseases.
